Representing the mind of the Buddhas, it reverberates with the wish for all beings to be free of suffering and attain complete enlightenment. Height: 8".
What Does "Specially Consecrated" Mean?
These unique blessed items are prepared and consecrated by Lama Konchok Sonam, Spiritual Director and Resident Lama of the Drikung Meditation Center. Inside are many precious substances including relics of great Buddhist masters, soil and stones from Buddhist holy sites, sands from many great sand mandalas and other items too numerous to mention. Personally gathered by Lama Sonam and then placed inside in accordance with the scripture of sutra and tantra to aid all sentient beings through the power of Bodhicitta.
Just having a stupa in your space (home or office etc.) invites harmony and peace. It helps to balance the five elements of earth, water, fire, air, and space, out of which the outer world is composed. Human beings and sentient beings also contain the five elements and balacing them is essential to health and wellness. Because the only difference between Buddhas and other sentient beings are not having any obscurations vs. having them, stupas help one to recognize the mind's true essence and thus to reach enlightenment for the benefit of all.
Place your stupa on a table or clean surface with a nice cloth underneath and circumambulate the stupa clock-wise with the intention to benefit he world. Do this as many times as you wish per session generating love and compassion. You can also recite mantras such as Om Mani Padme Hung to keep the mind focused on love.
