We are pleased to announce our 10th Annual Chenrezig Drubchen for Peace! Led by Ven. Lama Konchok Sonam, Ven. Khenpo Choephel and Ven. Lama Kalsang, we will practice for peace, harmony and happiness throughout the world. This is a rare and precious opportunity to give the gift of pure love to our world, and to ourselves, in these challenging times.
The Benefits of the Chenrezig Drubchen
Chenrezig is the Buddha of Compassion, and the benefits of this practice include increasing prosperity and harmonizing the elements, so that natural disasters like fire, flood, and drought are pacified. We will also dedicate the Drubchen to world peace so that war and all forms of oppression and harm cease. May sentient beings everywhere find happiness and be freed from suffering!

Perfection of Wisdom Sūtra in Eight Thousand Lines
This year Ven. Lama Konchok Sonam pledges to complete 108 Recitations of the Perfection of Wisdom Sūtra in Eight Thousand Lines (Aṣṭasāhasrikā Prajñāpāramitā).
The Perfection of Wisdom Sūtra is a foundational text of Mahāyāna Buddhism, describing the figure of the Bodhisattva and the doctrine of emptiness. One single recitation takes approximately 11 hours.
This special accumulation is done with the intention to benefit and stabilize peace and prosperity in the world and the lives of all spiritual masters in all traditions.
You can support this great effort by sponsoring one of these 11-hour readings. Sponsorship can include your specific dedication.
