On June 3, 2017 the Venerable Lama Konchok Sonam and other members of the Drikung Meditation Center hosted a special Benefit Concert, Auction and Dinner in Arlington, MA.

 

The event featured delicious Himalayan food (thanks to sponsors House of Tibet Kitchen, Martsa on Elm and Rangzen Tibetan Place!), special performances by singers and dancers from Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, Ladakh, Mongolia, Vietnam and China, and an auction of many unique and precious Dharma items and other specially donated items. 
 

Turnout for the event exceeded all expectations and we were thrilled to be able to bring so much joy to those who attended this wonderful evening of food, song, dance, connection and celebration.

 

The event was also a great success in raising more funds for the center's Building Fund, for which funds is still being raised to purchase a new and expanded facility that will allow the center to provide even more services to the community as envisioned by Lama Sonam and other dedicated members of the center.

We are so thankful to all of those people who organized, sponsored, donated, or otherwise made valuable contributions of their time, money or effort to help make this wonderful and joyous event happen. We look forward to doing it again next year!
