A Visit and Retreat with Jack Ernest Churchward

Thadak Tulku Rinpoche, usually called Tulku Jack, will share his experience as an American Tulku.  He says, "I am open to helping out in any way I can.  [I am] very sincere in sharing what I've gone through in my life experience."

There will be two events during Tulku Jack's visit:

Come join Rinpoche in his love of baseball.  We'll tour Fenway Park, together with Tulku Jack. The tour begins at 12 Noon, at Fenway Park.  Those leaving from DMC should be there by 10:30 AM.

You must sign up in advance so we can reserve tickets. The cost is $20.

Some of the main topics to be discussed include: 

*Applying the Dharma to everyday life as a normal working person.

*Bringing Dharma practice into every moment.

*Working with addiction (anything from drugs to anger). 

*Teachings from books including:

      - "A Complete Guide to the Buddhist Path"

      - "The Jewel Treasury of Advice, 

One Hundred Teachings From the Heart" 

 

Both books are by Khenchen Konchog Gyaltshen Rinpoche (the founder of our center and one of Tulku Jack's teachers).

* A Tulku is the recognized reincarnation of a lineage holder in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.  They are trained from a young age by students of their predecessors. The most famous Tulku is the Dalai Lama.
