Causes for Merit
Stupa Project

In his teachings, Lord Buddha has praised the wholesome act of building and restoring temples, Stupas (offering-base) and residence for the Sangha (spiritual community) to be a great source of merit.

Thus the accumulation of such a boon of merit is not only the cause of achieving great health, wealth and body of beauty and splendor in this life but also the very seed for attaining Nirvana or the state of perfect Buddhahood.

Jowo Rinpoche Building Fund

Fundraising is now underway. The Jowo Rinpoche Statue needs land and a larger permanent building in order to fulfill its mission. Please donate today to make this possible. We are a 501(c) (3) organization, and all donations are tax-deductible.

As part of the Jokhang Institute, The Drikung Meditation Center conducts a weekly schedule of meditation practice at this location. View calendar, visit Jokhang.org, email info@drikungboston.org, or call (888) 390-5580 to learn more.
