Calm Abiding Meditation
Tuesday, June 29th @ 7pm

Join us for a special teaching and practice with Lama Gursam on calm
abiding, the foundation of all meditation practices.
Cultivating meditation stability is essential for all practice.

Lama Gursam has both scholarly training and retreat experience, having completed 3 year retreat under H.E. Garchen Rinpoche and teaches meditation all over the world.

Suggested Donation:
$20 non-members; $10 members
No one will be turned away for financial reasons.
All welcome!

A Retreat Center and religious community on historic Fort Hill.

Accommodations:
Very comfortable single rooms and some double rooms with shared baths:
accessible rooms available.
Meals will be taken in the refectory with the sisters - vegetarian options will be provided.
Nobel silence will be maintained from 9:00pm Friday until lunch on Sunday

Introductory Talk - Friday 7:00pm
Practice 9:00 am - 8:30 Pm Sat.
9:00 am - 4:00pm Sunday

Fee Schedule:
Full retreat: 2 nights and all meals included - $180.00
Friday Night Introductory Talk only -$20.00
Saturday or Sunday only - $50.00 per day includes lunch, snacks and dinner, (lunch only on Sun.)
Day Students - Friday night and both days - $100.00

 

The Four Immeasurable Wishes of Buddhism
Love: May all mother sentient beings, boundless as the sky, have happiness and the causes of happiness.
Compassion: May they be liberated from suffering and the causes of suffering. Bliss: May they never be separated from the happiness which is free from sorrow. Equanimity: May they rest in equanimity, free from attachment and aversion.
